Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2024 GABWA Founders Awards. This year‘s Founders Awards recipients will be presented at the Glitter Gala & Auction, which will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Established in 2006 in honor of GABWA founders Judge Leah Ward Sears, Judge Barbara A. Harris and Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane, the Founders Awards celebrate GABWA’s founders whose exemplary work and tireless contributions to the profession, community, and family significantly advanced GABWA‘s mission.

Additionally, the Zenith Awards acknowledge two individuals and an organization that have served the profession and the community with distinction, including significant contributions to the political landscape, consistent with GABWA‘s mission.

We encourage you to nominate an individual and/or organization that has made significant contributions to the legal profession and political landscape and demonstrated commitment to the community and our families.

For additional questions, please email Simone Hylton at founders.awards@gabwa.org
