Biography
Marcee Lynn Campbell Hill has served as Senior Staff Attorney to the Honorable Courtney L. Johnson in the Superior Court of DeKalb County since 2016. She is a proud graduate of Albany State University and Howard University School of Law, and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Originally from Princeton, New Jersey, and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Marcee was taught by her parents to "autograph your work with excellence," a principle that continues to guide her professional and personal life.
Marcee began her legal career in education law, serving as Assistant Legal Officer and Charter School Coordinator for the DeKalb County School District. In these roles, she advised on various legal matters including governance, regulatory compliance, and policy development. Her areas of expertise include civil and domestic law, legal research and analysis, internal investigations, and the implementation of institutional policies and procedures. Marcee is a dedicated member of the legal community, having served in leadership roles on the Board of Directors and various committees of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA) since 2014, as well as on the State Bar of Georgia's Committee to Promote Inclusion in the Profession. She is committed to service, and enjoys community engagement, visiting beaches, and time with her family.
